D&J Lawn Services began as a dream built by my parents. Through long days, hard work, and determination, they laid the foundation for what would become a trusted name in Central Florida. They didn’t just build a business, they built it on values of integrity, reliability, and pride in doing the job right.

Growing up, my brother and I were raised around the family business. We learned early what it meant to work hard, serve customers well, and stand behind your word. As we got older, we stepped in alongside our parents, helping expand the company and continuing the legacy they started. Working together as a family strengthened not only the business, but our commitment to delivering quality service to every client.

Since August 2010, D&J Lawn Services has grown from a small local lawn and land service operation into a trusted partner for both residential customers and large-scale commercial projects throughout Lakeland and across Central Florida. Over the years, we’ve combined decades of hands-on experience with modern equipment and technology to continually improve and expand our services.

Following in our parents’ entrepreneurial footsteps, my brother went on to start his own company, Taylor’s Turf, llc. As his business grew and expanded, we continued working alongside one another, supporting each other’s projects and strengthening what we do as a whole. Even as separate businesses, we remain closely connected, collaborating and sharing the same standards, values, and commitment to quality that we were raised on.

Today, the day-to-day operations are proudly run by my wife and me. While the leadership has transitioned to the next generation, the values remain the same. We continue to focus on professional sodding and erosion control services —supporting projects of all sizes with efficiency and quality workmanship.

Our work has ranged from helping homeowners refresh their landscapes to contributing to major commercial and infrastructure projects, including Lakeland Linder International Airport, Orlando International Airport, and the Reedy Creek Energy Services Wastewater Treatment Plant in Lake Buena Vista, Sun Trax Research Facility Expansion, State and County roads.

Though the company has grown in scale, we remain rooted in the same principles my parents started with—family, hard work, honesty, and dependable service. At D&J Lawn Services, we believe in building long-term relationships and helping Central Florida grow greener every day.
